NBA 2K11 soundtrack features Snoop Dogg, Ron Artest, Drake, Big Boi

NBA 2K11 is already making waves because it brings back game legend Michael Jordan back to virtual action for the first time in years and now 2K Sports has announced the soundtrack that will accompany the new basketball simulation. There are 29 tracks that will be offered when the game launched on October 5 in the United States and September 24 in Europe, coming to the Xbox 360, the PlayStation 3, the Nintendo Wii, the PC, the PlayStation Portable and the PS2. Peter Moore, the president of EA Sports, has declared in a recent interview that video game development should not focus only on obtaining high Metacritic scores, because that did not always go well with players. EA Sports Unveils Fight Night Champion

EA Sports has announced a new boxing game called Fight Night Champion that is supposed to come out in 2011 on the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360. It is not an expansion to Fight Night Round 4, but a stand-alone release that will add new features like a revamped control scheme and a deep single player mode to the critically acclaimed franchise. FIFA 11 Not Keen on Move and Kinect

One of the biggest franchises in the world of videogames, FIFA, will not be getting support for motion tracking technology this year and will also shun three-dimensional gaming for the next installment. The development team behind the title is still not convinced that Kinect from Microsoft and PlayStation Move from Sony will be widely adopted by the player base and is set to wait a bit before seeing how the two peripherals work with FIFA.
