After many speculations about the appearance and functions of the Sony PSP successor console in Tokyo, Sony announced the official information and images on their new portable console that is currently called Sony NGP, where “NGP” stands for “Next Generation Portable”. Below find all the novelties that NGP introduces, see below how this console look and find out why everybody say it is as strong as PS3!

Sony NGP will have dual analog sticks, touch screen will be larger than the screen on the PSP, and it will have support for controlling movement (something like the SIXAXIS). It is also confirmed that Sony’s new handheld will have two cameras and the ability to transfer 3G data! Another interesting thing about the NGP touch screen is that the screen will be also touchable from the back of the console, so we will not cover the screen with our fingers and spoil the game, as is the case in other similar devices.

Players are probably most interested in video games that will be available on this system. It was confirmed that the Sony PSP games will work on NGP and that the PSone games that are available in the PlayStation Store will also work on the NGP-in.
