NBA 2K11 is already making waves because it brings back game legend Michael Jordan back to virtual action for the first time in years and now 2K Sports has announced the soundtrack that will accompany the new basketball simulation. There are 29 tracks that will be offered when the game launched on October 5 in the United States and September 24 in Europe, coming to the Xbox 360, the PlayStation 3, the Nintendo Wii, the PC, the PlayStation Portable and the PS2.

Jason Argent, who is the vice president of marketing at 2K Sports, stated, “NBA 2K is the basketball game that everyone plays, from NBA athletes to celebrities to music artists. Snoop has been a long time fan of the NBA 2K series and because music is such an integral part to the gameplay experience, it was a perfect fit for this year’s title – one of the greatest rappers making an exclusive track for the greatest NBA game”.
