The game is set in a retro-futuristic London, where the city’s three major districts are controlled by criminal gangs. Steve and his team must eliminate the criminal underworld and persuade undecided voters to their cause, tackling the issues that matter by putting a gun in the mouth of those issues.

Gameplay

Not a Hero is a 2.5D cover-based shooter. You control Steve from a third-person perspective, and you can use a variety of weapons and abilities to defeat your enemies. The game’s unique ISO-Slant technology allows you to slide and dive around the environment, taking cover behind objects and using them to your advantage.

Steve is joined by a cast of colorful characters, each with their own unique abilities. There’s Double H, a gun-toting nun; Mr. Red, a masked vigilante; and Kelly, a cyborg with a powerful energy beam. You can switch between characters at any time, and you’ll need to use their combined skills to overcome the game’s many challenges.
