Introduction

Phantom Breaker is a 2D fighting game developed by 5pb. and published by MAGES. in Japan and Aksys Games in North America and Europe. It was released in arcades in Japan in September 2010, and was ported to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in June 2011.

The game is loosely based on characters from the visual novel Chaos;Head, and features a cast of 13 playable characters, each with their own unique fighting style and special moves. Story

The story of Phantom Breaker follows the events of Chaos;Head. After the events of that game, Itsuki Amano and his friends are transported to a parallel world where they are hunted by a group of mysterious beings known as the Phantoms. The Phantoms are led by Gaito Ashiya, who is trying to use the power of the Phantoms to destroy the world.

Itsuki and his friends must team up with the Phantom Society, a group of people who are trying to prevent the destruction of the world, in order to stop Ashiya and the Phantoms. Along the way, they will learn more about the true nature of the Phantoms and the secrets of the parallel world.

Reception
