Gameplay

Sonic Rush Adventure combines the classic 2D Sonic gameplay of the Genesis era with new features and challenges that take advantage of the Nintendo DS’s unique capabilities. Players control Sonic as he runs, jumps, and spins his way through seven islands, each with its own unique theme and set of challenges.

New to Sonic Rush Adventure is the ability to explore the islands on a large map. Players can choose which island to visit next, and can even backtrack to previous islands to find new secrets and challenges.
